10 Articles That Got Me Canceled, Unfollowed, and AI-Censored. Read Them Before They're Buried.
No Filter. Just Facts.
I’ve published over 160 articles on this Substack, with more on the way. Some got me subscribers. Some got me unfollowed by my own family. A few made five different AI systems try to rewrite my words before I could hit publish.
These are the 10 that hit hardest. Not the safest. Not the most polished. The ones that made people uncomfortable enough to react, whether that meant subscribing or blocking me.
The algorithm doesn’t like writers like me. So if you’re reading this, someone either shared it with you or you found it before it got buried. Either way, you’re here now. Let’s go.
🔥 #1 | You Hate Trump More Than You Love Your Country, And That’s the Problem
This isn’t a pro-Trump article. Read that again.
This is about what happens when political hatred replaces thinking. When families split not over policy but over the inability to separate a human being from a political office. I lost people I loved over my vote. I slept fine. This piece explains why, and why your outrage is making you a tool for the very system you claim to oppose.
The most-read piece on this entire Substack. That tells you something.
If this made you feel something, send it to the person you’ve been arguing with. You know exactly who.
🧠 #2 | The Brain Doesn’t Care If You’re Healing or Hiding
Your therapist won’t tell you this, so I will.
You can journal every morning, meditate at noon, do breathwork before bed, and still be running from the one thing you refuse to face. Your brain doesn’t know the difference between genuine healing and sophisticated avoidance. It just knows you’re keeping busy. This piece ripped the mask off the self-care industry and made a lot of people go very quiet.
The silence told me everything.
Know someone who turned healing into a full-time hobby? Share this. They’ll either thank you or block you. Both are progress.
🇺🇸 #3 | The Real History of American Political Parties: From Constitution to Corruption
Neither party wants you reading this.
Democrats don’t want you tracing their connection to the KKK. Republicans don’t want you examining how they sold out their own principles. I did both, with receipts, because loyalty to a party is loyalty to a brand, not a principle. This piece made both sides furious. That’s how I knew it was accurate.
Tag the most politically loyal person you know. Watch what happens.
⚖️ #4 | Democracy ≠ Freedom: Read the Damn Constitution
Everyone screams about democracy. Almost nobody has read the document they’re screaming about.
I wrote this on July 4th because I was done watching people confuse mob rule with liberty. The Founders designed a republic specifically to protect individual rights FROM the majority. This piece hit the highest open rate of almost any article I’ve published. Turns out people are starving for someone to say what civics class never taught them.
If you’ve ever said “this is a democracy,” read this first. Then decide if you still believe that.
💰 #5 | Is Your Money Disappearing? Use This Rule and Start Seeing Real Results
Every single person who received this article opened it. 100% open rate.
No politics. No controversy. No sarcasm. Just the financial framework I use to stop money from vanishing into lifestyle inflation. My background is in accounting. I don’t just audit institutions. Sometimes I audit your wallet. This was the piece that proved my audience doesn’t just want truth about politics. They want truth about everything, especially their money.
Your bank account has bias too. This piece exposes it.
✝️ #6 | I Was a Catholic Catechist for Years. Here’s What I Learned About Faith, Color, and Control
I didn’t leave faith. I left the institution that weaponized it.
I taught catechism. I studied Scripture. And then I started asking the questions they train you never to ask. How faith gets used as a control mechanism. How religious identity becomes a tool for cultural manipulation. Why I walked away from organized religion without walking away from God. This piece made believers uncomfortable and atheists curious. Good.
If you’ve ever questioned your church but felt guilty about it, start here.
🇬🇧 #7 | Britain Still Owns America (And Here’s The Proof)
Sounds insane until you follow the money.
I traced the financial, legal, and institutional threads that still connect the United States to the British Crown. This isn’t conspiracy. It’s documented history that nobody teaches because it destroys the independence mythology Americans were raised on. Every receipt is in the article. Follow the money. It always leads back to London.
Think you live in a free country? Read this and then tell me that again.
💀 #8 | Dead While Alive: Are You Living or Just Breathing?
This one made people go quiet. Not angry. Not defensive. Just quiet.
Most people are performing life, not living it. Checking boxes, posting highlights, going through motions while feeling nothing underneath. I wrote this for everyone who’s ever sat in a room full of people and felt completely alone. Not because nobody was there, but because nobody was real. Including them.
If you felt something reading that description, the article will hit harder. Fair warning.
🔍 #9 | The Death of Curiosity: How They Made Questions Dangerous
There was a time when “why?” was the most respected word in any language. Now it gets you labeled.
Conspiracy theorist. Science denier. Problematic. I watched curiosity become a crime in real time during the pandemic, in education, in media, in AI. When asking questions becomes dangerous, the answers are already being controlled. This piece names the mechanism and the people profiting from your silence.
When was the last time you asked “why” and actually waited for an honest answer?
👨👩👧 #10 | Stop Treating Your Parents Like Broken Toys: The Hidden Damage of the Therapy Generation
This is the one that made millennials and Gen Z furious. Perfect.
Somewhere along the way, an entire generation weaponized therapy language against the people who raised them. “Boundaries” became code for abandonment. “Trauma” became a rewrite of history with only one victim. I watched adult children discard their parents like defective products and call it growth. Nobody had the guts to say it, so I did: your parents were human beings doing their best with what they had. And cutting them off doesn’t make you healed. It makes you comfortable.
If you haven’t called your parents in a while, maybe start there before reading this.
You Made It to the End. That Already Sets You Apart.
Most people click away the moment something challenges them. You didn’t. That tells me you’re the kind of reader I write for: someone who can handle truth without needing it gift-wrapped.
These 10 pieces cover politics, money, faith, family, freedom, and the brain. They have one thing in common: not one of them was written to make you comfortable.
I don’t write for applause. I write because the truth doesn’t have a PR team.
